  • How to drop off your vehicle after hours?
    We have a black key drop on the garage door located in the back of the building. Please park your vehicle in the front and place your keys in the drop box after you have locked your vehicle. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30am through 5:00pm. Please feel free to reach out with any further drop off instructions or requests at 770-458-8585
  • Do you need to make an appointment?
    Yes, we are an appointment based for bookings and installations. We do allow walk ins and if we can fulfill the appointment say day we will make it happen for you.
  • What is included in my Leather interior?
    Your installer will remove the cloth from your front and rear seats, replacing it with your new premium interior, including all the door panels and center console covering (depending on the vehicle). As a general rule: if it has cloth on it, we replace it with your new premium interior. If you choose a two-tone option, the tow-tone colors will be placed on the front driver and passenger as well as the outer seats in the rear. Note that the middle rear seat will be a single-tone color as this is typical with factory designs.
  • Do you offer seat heating or cooling?
    Yes! American Radio offers OEM quality seating temperature control systems that can be incorporated into your premium leather interior. From our heat only system that offers a high and low level of warmth, to our state-of-the-art heating and cooling system that provides 3-levels of heat and 3-levels of air conditioned comfort, you’ll find these innovative options offered exclusively from American Radio
  • How long does it take?
    When you schedule your appointment with us one of our authorized installers who can generally install your new interior in 2 days or less.
  • Are Leather interiors covered with a warranty?
    Yes. Every leather-trimmed interior is backed by a 3 year/36,000 mile national warranty.
  • How to prepare for installation?
    Please remove all loose items, power cords, and personal items from your vehicle to insure a seamless installation.
  • Will leather add value to my car?
    If given a choice, most consumers prefer leather and will look for that option in a used car. Leather not only provides visual appeal and comfort but also has tremendous practical value due to ease of clean up and maintenance.
  • How should I care for my new interior?
    Our materials have received a protective treatment during the manufacturing process, which will protect the surface from the soiling and staining of everyday use throughout the life of your Leather interior. If necessary, we recommend the following procedures for cleaning: For Spots and Spills: Blot any excess liquid immediately with a clean absorbent cloth or sponge. If necessary, use clear, lukewarm water and dry with a clean towel and then air dry. Do not dry wet areas with heat dryers, hair dryers, etc. as this will damage the material. For Stubborn Spots and Stains: Use a mild solution of Ivory bar soap (not dishwashing liquid) and clear, lukewarm water. Apply the soap to a clean, wet sponge and blot the affected area. Do not apply force or pressure, as the heat and friction of rubbing will damage the surface over time. Rinse and allow to air dry naturally. For Disinfecting: We recommends using only botanical-based disinfectants on vehicle seating surfaces used in accordance with the directions on the product label. Alcohol or ammonium-based disinfectants could damage your interior when used consistently over time. Do Not Use: Saddle soaps, oils, abrasives, cleaners containing detergent (such as dishwashing liquids), solvents (mineral spirits), any products containing alcohol (hand sanitizers), household disinfecting sprays or wipes, varnish, ammonia water or any products containing bleach, as these types of cleaners will cause damage to the protective top coat of the interior and use of listed products may void your warranty. Note regarding Blue Dye Transfer: Some clothing items (such as darker jeans) contain dyes that may transfer to lighter color upholstery surfaces, including lighter color automotive leathers. This dye transfer occurs naturally over time and does not reflect a defect in the finish of the leather. If you are concerned about the possibility of blue dye transfer, we recommend that you consider a darker color for your leather interior.
  • Does American Radio offer a non-leather or Vegan option?
    Yes! The majority of American Radio interiors are available in a non-leather synthetic material. Please select your preliminary design and speak to your American Radio installer about your material preference.
  • Is there a warranty on electronics?
    American Radio does off at least a 1 year warranty on Radios. That includes the product and the installation. Safety features such as Blind Spot Detection, Parking Sensors, Tracking Devices and GPS monitoring will come with a 3 year nationwide warranty. Sunroofs will come with a 3 year nationwide warranty. All other electronics will come with at least a 1 year warranty.
  • How long does it take to install electronics?
    Most products can be installed and returned in the same day. For an estimation of time for your installation please feel free to reach out wit us at 770-458-8585! Sunroof installation is a 24 to 48 hour hold of your vehicle.
